TAP Portugal has announced the re-launch of direct flights between Budapest and the Portuguese capital, Lisbon. The route will operate as of 1 July 2017, every day except Fridays, seven times a week in total, with Airbus A319 type aircraft.

From Deák Ferenc tér, Kossuth Lajos tér can be reached by replacement bus M2A. Additionally, BKK provides a new shuttle-boat service, line D2 between Batthyány tér and Kossuth Lajos tér.

The company is now offering a two-step 4.4% increase in remuneration plus a one-off payment. Remuneration would be increased by 2.4% for 2016 and by a further 2.0% for 2017.

Two metro trains collided on Budapest’s M2 line early on Monday, injuring ten people, Máté Kisdi, a spokesman for Budapest’s disaster management authority said. The accident happened after one train travelling in the direction of Déli railway station caught up with and ran into the back of another. Both trains were carrying passengers.
