Lauder, president of the World Jewish Congress, expressed his “surprise” that the WJC leader had asked him “to limit freedom of speech and the freedom of the press” by calling on him to condemn an image that recently appeared on the cover of business weekly Figyelő, which Lauder had called anti-Semitic.

The British International School, Budapest: Our Christmas Fair was a huge success with over 500 visitors this year! This fair saw the biggest group of volunteers yet coming together to contribute to this success: almost 70 volunteers across 50 different nationalities with many different languages but all with the same mission.

On Friday 30 November the Chain Bridge was lit up in the colours of the Saltire on the occasion of Saint Andrew's Day. You could also see the beautiful blue and white colours on Saturday too, as the Scottish community in Hungary held their annual St. Andrew's Ball with Scottish music and dance.
