The Air Race World Championship, sponsored by Red Bull, makes a welcome return to the Hungarian capital this year. Back in 2009, when the last such event took place in Budapest, over 650,000 spectators lined the banks of the Danube.

Due to the huge interest, the owners of Go-kart Arena decided to rebuild the tracks, so Go-kart enthusiasts or those who are just thinking about trying this exciting sport can enjoy a brand new field.

The ceremonial parade will begin at 10.00 a.m. on 20 August with the flight across the Danube of the Gripen formation, AN-26 cargo aircraft and Mi-8 cargo helicopters of the Hungarian Defence Forces.
