The rupture of the red sludge reservoir in Hungary has caused a localised emergency situation afflicting three villages 160 km from the capital, Budapest. "In his archaeological installation, Rimer Cardillo (1944) the Guggenheim and Pollock Awar- winning sculptor from Uruguay, currently living in New York, constructs an ancient South American landscape with ritual burial mounds inside the church at the Kiscell Museum.
Embassies In Hungary Going Green And Fair Trade

"In January, the Dutch Embassy became the first embassy in Hungary to go Fair Trade. The embassy just placed their first order of Treehugger Dan's Fair Trade Kafequo coffee (55% arabica/45% robusta). The beans come from Peru and Tanzania, and are mixed and roasted by Caffe Agust in Italy. This move was quickly followed by the Gambian Embassy.
