Munich-based real estate fund management group GLL Real Estate Partners has acquired the historic Váci 1 building from Horizon Development, according to a press release sent to the Budapest Business Journal today. According to Hungarian authorities, there is “no one by the name of Ghaith Pharaon” residing in Hungary, an interior ministry official told the daily Magyar Idők. If, however, Pharaon enters Hungary’s territory and it turns out that he is the Saudi businessman who is wanted by the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), he will be arrested immediately, state secretary Károly Kontrát told the paper.
