More and more Germans are moving to the Lake Balaton area in Hungary due to their dissatisfaction with the German government’s asylum policy and a fear of migrants, German public service broadcaster Bayerische Rundfunk (BR) said. Nearly 90% of those Hungarians who said they will vote in the government referendum reject the mandatory quota system of the EU, according to a poll conducted by the Fidesz-linked Századvég Foundation. The Gyõr Court of Appeals on Wednesday upheld a ten-year prison sentence for a man who robbed Afghan refugees with a meat cleaver. The culprit, 41-year-old Ferenc Schaub, and an unidentified companion lured four Afghan men from Gyõr train station last June 9 and told them that he would take them to Vámosszabadi near the Slovak border.
