A growing number of Hungarians do their shopping in neighboring countries and the amount of money they spend abroad is consequently also increasing, according to data from the Central Statistical Office (KSH). The favorite country for shoppers is Austria.
Tourist Guest Nights Up 1.5% In July

In July, the number of nights spent by international tourists in commercial accommodation rose by 2.6%, while nights spent by domestic tourists were up 0.7% compared to a year earlier. Total gross revenues of accommodation establishments grew by 18% at current prices, according to a first release of July data from the Central Statistical Office (KSH).
