Katinka Hosszú of Hungary was elected Female Athlete of the Year by the international swimming federation FINA on Monday. Hosszú was presented with the distinction at a ceremony in the ballroom of the Hyatt Grand Hotel in Doha.

World-famous Hungarian female swimmer Katinka Hosszú has announced on her Facebook page that her motivational book “The Hungarian Iron Lady”, the Hungarian edition of which hit the stores on 22 November, will appear in English next April.

Hungary won twenty medals in EuroSkills, the largest European skills competition, held in Lille. Hungarian skilled workers won gold medals in joinery, information and communication technology, surface cleaning and cleaning services, and silver medals in mechatronics and woodcraft technology.
