Inventor László Oroszi has won a copyright lawsuit after 12 years against German sporting goods manufacturer Adidas over designs for football boots. The Capital Court ruled on January 30 that the Adidas’s Predator Precision and Predator Mania boots illegally relied on Oroszi’s invention.

Alpine skier Edit Miklós came in 7th in ladies’ downhill in Sochi on Wednesday, setting a Hungarian olympic record. The skier finished with a time of 1:42.28 after Lotte Smiseth Sejersted from Norway. Miklós, born in Szekler Land, Romania, is so far the 16-strong Hungarian olympic team’s most successful sportswoman.
