Marion Merrick came to Hungary in 1982 when the country was still behind the “iron curtain”. She worked for one of the first private language schools that were then opening, and subsequently taught at Pázmány University, ELTE Teaching Training College, and finally at the British International School.

Margret Kratz, the former coach of Dzsenifer Marozsán and Nadine Kessler and an eminent figure in German youth development and coaching education, has been chosen by the Hungarian Football Federation’s executive committee to be their new coach of the women’s national team, thus becoming the first foreigner to fill the role.

3,068 new cases were confirmed. The number of people infected with the coronavirus in Hungary now stands at 334,836. The number of deaths stands at 10,325 while the number of those recovered now stands at 179,541 (same as yesterday due to a technical difficulty).
