Full House And Huge Names At The Sound Festival In Hungary

The 2014 MasterCard Balaton Sound attracted a total of 145 000 fans during 4 days and 5 nights. Almost 50% of the guests came from abroad and the festival passes were sold out months before the start of the event. The live stream of the festival reached hundreds of thousands of viewers, thanks to the cooperation with Ustream and Telekom.

As part of the ongoing series at the Hungarian National Gallery dealing with the life's works of outstanding Hungarian artists, this exhibition presents the art of one of the major figures from the period between the wars, Gyula Derkovits (1894-1934). The significance of Derkovits was recognized even by the critics, collectors and museum experts of his own age.

New names are added to the already prestigious line-up of MasterCard Balaton Sound. Among them we can find such names as Armin van Buuren, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike or Nervo. Hernan Cattaneo and Nick Warren will hit the Main Stage together, but we can also find Datsik, Clean Bandit, Feed Me DJ Set, Hardrock Sofa, Bassjackers, Sigma, Scarlett Etienne, Warieka and HVOB in the newly updated program.
