This time, Roberto Fonseca, artistic director of the world-famousBuena Vista Social Club, invites us on a musical journey to the heady and sultry world of the 30s.

La Gran Diversión is a tribute to the golden age of Cuban music, the wild nights of Havana, a real journey through time and space back to the jazz clubs of the 1930s, the famous Cabane Cubaine in Paris or the Cotton Club, whose sultry atmosphere Fonseca and his orchestra of Cuban musicians recreate in the concert halls. The aim: to bring a real sense of life back to the present.

Cuban music has to move into the body of the people; the main role is played by the audience, and the music is at their service.
