Várallyay Kinga (piano), Korossy-Khayll Csongor (violin) and Dolfin Balázs (cello) offer us an extraordinary initiation: the three excellent young musicians undertake to acquaint the audience with a slice of their joint working process, and all this through two masterpieces by the Schumann couple.

Their concert will shed light on the workshop process that typically takes place during a chamber music rehearsal, where not only three instruments that function in completely different ways but also the—often quite strong — ideas of three performers must be brought into alignment.

In performing the works they will present both the musical challenges that arise and the beauty inherent in them, and then their various ideas for how to carry them out.

We will also learn how and why they decide in favor of one or another solution, and it may even happen that they involve adventurous members of the audience in their decisions, who will be able to actively instruct the rehearsal process.
