During the visit, Her Royal Highness unveiled a plaque donated by the Foundation commemorating the 125th anniversary of the founding of the hospital.

The Duchess also met representatives of the Robert Burns Foundation which has supported the hospital for the last thirteen years providing equipment, fixtures and other essential items to improve child care. The Foundation's latest appeal initiative to construct mother-child units to assist recovery of distance trauma and critically ill child patients coming from the borders of Hungary and two men from England and Ireland will run for Hungary in the "Marathon des Sables" in Marrakech in April.

The British Company Vodafone Hungary briefed The Duchess about their initiative to provide an annual award for best efforts annual for CSR activity. The first award (EUR 18,000) goes to the Robert Burns Foundation."
