- 28 Sep 2010 1:00 AM
Hungarian Educational Ombudsman Lajos Aáry-Tamás expressed how important it is to build international school links in order to celebrate openness and diversity.
This year 10 schools from Budapest will participate in the program, coordinated by the Mérei Ferenc Pedagogical Institute. They will be connected to schools in the UK, Romania and France. The participating schools were introduced by their students reflecting on the diversity of communities represented within the Hungarian education system.
The British Council’s Connecting Classrooms’ international school partnerships help to create a more connected world and to build trust and understanding between people in different societies.
