'DanceTuesdays', Merlin Theater Budapest, 14 December
"This time the word "budoir" denotes not a lustful haunt where women and men take both their clothes and inhibitions off and give themselves to each other and to rapture. Kati Dombi's Budoir is a buzzing, intimate slice of a big city full of lost souls. /Glória Halász: Is it the cloth that makes...?

"So, we all live in a budoir, we worship an evening dress as a god and when we disappear from a cold relationship (or at last from life) a piece of garment is left - as it happens many times in the performances of Budoir.

This seems quite different if we observe ourselves from the point of view of the dresses (the subtitle is "the visions of a dress"; and this refers to something completely different from the former Memorials of a bluestocking - created by an expert). Obviously, the dresses think (mostly women dresses I guess) that they make a man.

Man is of course evil: we refashion or reshape clothes, or what is more if we get bored with our closest friend (the dress) we just throw it away or replace it with another. On the stage of Kati Dombi and her company plenty of metaphorical crosstalks hide between linens and silks, fashion in theatre is the trend."   /Csaba Kutszegi: Budoir/
