Report: St George's Day Event At The British Embassy In Budapest

The British Embassy in Budapest together with the British Chamber of Commerce in Hungary hosted a joint St George's Day event on 25 April 2012. St George is the patron saint of England. His Saint's Day is 23 April which is the national day of England.
2012 is not just the year of the London Olympic & Paralympic Games but Her Majesty The Queen's Diamond Jubilee year too. On 21 April, The Queen celebrated her 86th birthday.
Therefore this year's event was themed around the Queen's Diamond Jubilee marked by a special tailored version of "The Complete Works of William Shakespeare (abridged)" a modern comedy classic by Madhouse Theatre Company.
The evening was attended by the Minister for National Development, HE Mrs Németh as well as Deputy and State Secretaries of other ministries and important business contacts.
