The Lumia 820 runs off 1GB of RAM which keeps things nice and slick. The Carl Zeiss camera, and related creative photo apps, is a real highlight of this Nokia handset. Another highlight is the microSD extra storage capability, plus Office 360 is handy for business use, and the wireless charging option - a wireless charging cover is available to allow easy charging..

There's a great deal of power on offer thanks to the dual core 1.5Ghz Snapdragon processor, and Adreno 225 GPU. Just as you would hope, Windows 8 is a really smooth operating system.

The front of the phone is fashionably minimal in terms of design, with just the three standard Windows phone soft touch keys at the bottom, and the Nokia lettering at the top.

The removable back cover lets you change the colour of the handset, you can choose from bright yellow rear, red, black, magenta, blue, white and grey are all available.

It's bright, clear screen is up to Nokia's usual high standard, and the curved sides and rounded corners of the device make it comfortable to hold. Users can easily wrap their hand around the Lumia 820 and access the physical buttons, which are located along the right hand side of the mobile.

The dimensions and weight of the Lumia 820 are among its key strengths. It feels heavy enough to take a knock or two, but slight enough that you won't really notice it in your pocket. Moreover, if you're one of the people that think phones are getting a tad too big these days, you'll appreciate the smaller 4.3-inch AMOLED screen.

Overall it’s a fine looking, fun to use, feature-packed phone. Also importantly, the build quality is great, just as you would expect given Nokia's impressive history of mobile phone craftsmanship.

So now, just in case you haven't already, simply LIKE XpatLoop News on Facebook, and you could win this amazing new Nokia mobile, thanks for joining-in & good luck!
