New Ticket On Budapest Waterborne Public Transport From May
From 1 May 2013 (Wednesday) a new dedicated single ticket for public transport boat will be introduced on the scheduled public boats operating on the river Danube. The full fare is 750 HUF; the reduced fare is 550 HUF for children under 15. On workdays the Budapest Passes, 24-hour, 72-hour, Budapest 24-hour group and 7-day travelcards as well as bicycle passes and discount group passes for students, event passes and combined passes remain valid for travel.

From 1 May 2013 (Wednesday) a new single ticket for public transport boat will be introduced on scheduled public boat lines D11, D12 and D13 operating on the Danube. The full fare is 750 HUF while the reduced fare is 550 HUF for children under 15.

Fares of tickets and passes as of 1 May 2013:

Passengers entitled to free travel based on government regulation continue to be able to travel free of charge every day.

Passengers have to purchase a 750 HUF single ticket for public boat transport for transporting a dog on a leash in case they are not in possession of a valid pass or travelcard and also for transporting a bicycle. Bicycle passes are also valid for public transport boat services on workdays.

From 1 May the single ticket for public transport boat will be on sale onboard riverboats and at the following ticket offices:
