Invitation: Belgian Beer Festival, Budapest, 31 May - 2 June
- 30 May 2013 9:01 AM
At the festival about 30 Belgian breweries will be present, making it possible for visitors to taste about 50 drought beers and a total of 140 different brands. The festival is arranged in the beautiful environment of the Vajdahunyad Castle, an area I believe to be one of the nicest in Budapest, so why not combine some beer tasting and the beauties of the City Park and the Castle at the same time? The exact area for the beer festival is the Museum of Agriculture in the castle area.
At the festival you can for example taste what was selected to be the best dark beer in the world in 2012, the Carolus Classic. In addition it will be possible to taste Delirium, Barbar, Kasteel Rouge, Duvel, Corsendonk and lots of other beer types from Belgium.
To get to the area for the Belgian beer festival the best is to use public transportation, taking the yellow metro to either Heroes Square (Hosok tere) or to the Szechenyi Furdo.
