Invitation: Festival Of New Palinka - Plum Days Of Szatmár-Bereg In Hungary, 27 - 29 September

This day is to celebrate the uniqueness of the tasty blue „penyigei” plum, growing int the upper Tisza valley, and to commemorate the secular tradition of its use int he regional gastronomy, as well as to introduce local artistic groups and genuine handcraft traditions.
The outstanding event of the festival is the entrance Szatmár-Bereg Palinka Knights in shining armour. While a new member will be given a knighthood, the participants have a chanche to taste the freshly destilled Szatmár Plum Pálinka.
