Unemployment Under 10% In Hungary

The number of working people in the 15–74 age group increased by 54 000 jumping up to 3.990 million in the period July–September 2013,a 1.4% increase compared to the same period last year. The employment rate of people aged 15–74 improved to 52.3%.
The number of employed people aged 15–24 rose by 1.7% and stood at 20.7% compared to last year’s data.
The number of unemployed people in the period July–September 2013 was 434 000, which is a 0.6% decrease compared to same period in 2012. This small decrease was enough to take the unemployment rate below 10% to 9.8%.
