When going to this fair you will dive into lovely smell of cinnamon pastries (Chimney Cake), sausages, mulled wine, grilled vegetables, street snacks like Langos, dodolle and much more finest traditional foods. On two stages every day from 17.00 till 20.00: folk, jazz, world music concerts, dance house performances entertain visitors to the fair. On weekend mornings a puppet show will be on stage; to delight families with children.
This Christmas fair does not have the usual dazzling commercial mall lights you can see on many places, you won’t see supersized Santa Clauses either. All the lights and decorations are more toned down, which gives the fair a wonderful nostalgic atmosphere. The atmosphere is being complemented by historical, most of them date back to the 19th century. There are also festive light painting performances on Cafe Gerbeaud house.
