Support For Budapest Spring Festival To Increase By Four – Fold
The Budapest Spring Festival can plan next year’s event with a budget of 1.65 billion forints, or four-times as much as this year, in line with an agreement between the Budapest city council and the ministry.

The festival will be held between March 21 and April 6, and ticket sales will start on Monday. State secretary for culture at the Ministry for Human Resources, János Halász, said the allocation for the festival events was 460 million forints (EUR 1.5bn) in 2013.

The opening concerto on March 21 will feature the Pannon Philharmonic Orchestra conducted by János Kovács and the Szeged Contemporary Ballet.
