Poll Reveals High Voter Apathy In Hungary

Support for both Fidesz and the Socialists grew slightly from December to January, as Fidesz has the support of 48% of decided voters, to 27% for the Socialists, according to the latest Ipsos poll. Only 42% of respondents aid they would be certain to vote, while 25% said they would “probably” go to the polls.
The survey results suggest that 1.2 million potential voters would like to see a change of government, but 60% of them do not favour any party and do not expect to vote.
