PM Discusses Situation In Ukraine & US-Hungary Relations With US Senator John McCain

Prime Minister Viktor Orbán met John McCain, current Republican Senator of Arizona, leading figure of the Republican party, in Budapest on Friday afternoon. Mr McCain is heading a cross-party congress delegation, including another two senators and six congressmen, to Hungary for a one-day visit. The Hungarian Prime Minister said economic cooperation between the US and Hungary was excellent, as demonstrated by 9 billion dollars US investment in Hungary.
Viktor Orbán briefed McCain about the V4 summit held earlier this week about Ukraine, the Prime Minister’s Press Chief Bertalan Havasi added. Senator McCain told at the press conference he had assured Prime Minister Orbán that the United States would remain a committed ally and friend of Hungary.
