Hungary’s Fidesz To Continue Efforts To Promote Employment Of Disabled
- 25 Apr 2014 4:00 AM
Hungary’s Fidesz party will work to further increase employment for people with disabilities at a European level, MEP Ádám Kósa, delegated by the ruling Fidesz-Christian Democrat alliance, said.
Kósa urged European legislation concerning wheelchair accessibility of public facilities, which he said the European Commission had been delaying for three years.
Kósa, who is head of Hungary’s association of people with impaired hearing, has been Hungary’s MEP for the past five years, and headed a team that prepared a report on the disabled situation in Europe for the EP in 2011.
