Hungary’s Foreign Minister Urges Voters To Participate In EP Election
It is very important that Hungarians cast their ballot at the upcoming European parliamentary election in large numbers, Foreign Minister János Martonyi said on Sunday. Speaking on public television m1, Martonyi argued that high turnout at the polls could result in a higher number of Hungarian deputies in the European body.

He insisted that other nations “do not have that opportunity” therefore “participation for we Hungarians is even more important than for the others”. Voters should demonstrate that central Europe’s Hungarians “want to have a say” in European matters, Martonyi added.
