Registrations of New Cars & Motorcycles in Hungary Up Significantly Last Year

The number of new passenger car registrations in Hungary rose 12.9pc to 121,607 in 2024, the Hungarian Association of Vehicle Importers (MGE) said.
Excluding re-exports, new car registrations rose 8.8pc to 104,505.
Registrations of electric vehicles jumped 47.8pc to 8,570.
Light commercial vehicle registrations rose 19.4pc to 24,772. Heavy commercial vehicle registrations fell 16.5pc to 5,281.
New bus registrations plunged 50.4pc to 416. Motorcycle registrations increased 22.8pc to 8,054.
