State Owned Company Suspends Sale Of HUF 3Bn Of Wine

State-owned wine company Tokaj Kereskedőház has suspended the sale of 3 billion forints of product because of improper preparation under the previous management, Hungarian dailies Népszabadság and Magyar Nemzet said on Thursday.
Géza Illés, the company’s legal counsellor, confirmed the suspension of the sale following an internal audit.
Nepszabadság said the product in question had been made by mixing wines of varying quality and vintages, against company policy.
Tokaj Kereskedőház had an after-tax loss of 2.7 billion forints on revenue of 3.2 billion forints in 2012, public records show.
