Szájer: Hungary Does Not Want To Exit EU
Hungary does not want to exit the European Union, it wants to “take the whole nation” into the bloc instead, MEP József Szájer said on Saturday. Addressing a Fidesz-Christian Democrats rally in central Budapest, Szájer said the prime minister and parliament will need great support for their work.

The more support their European election candidates can gather, the better they can help protect Hungarian jobs, the utility bill cuts, the banking tax, Hungarian land, the Erzsébet coupons, the plaza ban, the Hungarian false acacia and the freedom of distillery, he said.

The EU should not interfere in matters that can be solved more efficiently locally, but should work on such important tasks as the design of an independent European energy policy instead, Szájer added.
