Danone To Close Budapest Plant

Dairy producer Danone is planning to shut its Budapest plant in the second half of 2015 as production has fallen to critical levels due to falling demand for fresh dairy products, the French company announced yesterday.
Factories in Germany and Italy will also be closed, for the same reasons.
The Hungarian subsidiary has begun consultations with trade unions on the dismissals, which will affect 155 of the 270 employees.
