Spas All Around Hungary Expect Bright Summer & Rising Ticket Sales

Hungarian spas expect revenues from ticket sales to rise by 4% this summer season, an official of the Hungarian Spa Association said. Based on revenue figures in January- May this year, spas expect to generate 40 billion forints (EUR 130m) in revenue this summer, Szabolcs Juhász said.
Revenue for spas in eastern Hungary rose by 1.6% last year, and in western Hungary by 7% on the previous year, Juhász added. Spas located in Budapest and its environs added 3.9% to revenue last year compared to 2012, he said.
