Klubrádió Sues Hungarian Media Authority
Klubrádió has taken legal action against the National Media and Communication Authority, seeking compensation of Ft 1.4 billion for damage incurred in the past four years, president and CEO András Arató told Népszabadság on Thursday.

Arató said the compensation claim is based on three points. The station won its 92.9 community frequency in 2010 but the media authority failed to sign the relevant contract, he recalled.

The station then paid an annual Ft 55 million plus VAT to the authority for the 95.3 frequency used before 2010. During that time the station lost most of its advertising revenues.

Thirdly, Klubrádió is suing the media authority for tarnishing its reputation.
