We also give the first 500 visitors each a gift and a dinner at Costes, the Michelin-starred restaurant, will be raffled among all participants.
If you are into gastronomy you will meet some familiar names among the more than 80 exhibitors. Such as Tibor Szántó with his beautiful, award-winning chocolates, or the Donum Terrae with some healthy, really exceptional oils and creams, but Orsi Sztanó will also be there with her homemade dips and sandwich spreads, as well as the Herbatea Manufactory with their different kinds of herbal spice-honey.
We are expecting some newcomers to Pantry, like Tastes from the Hunter Lodge (Ízek a Vadászházból) with their game pates going great with Venison Gusto’s game products, or the Linbrunn Winery famous for its Villány wines.
Talking about sweets, we have to mention Marangona gastropoint with a special dessert table for this occasion exclusively, along with Kockacsoki the supplier of silky chocolates and Gelarto Rosa master of macaroons. For a light brunch, check out the fantastic bagels and uniquely developed “Dafke flodni muffin” by Dafke Deli or their double chocolate, Nutella, Boston cream or strawberry jam donut-wonders.
Superjuice welcomes November with power-juices and green drinks made solely of fresh ingredient, such as beetroot, cucumber and celery. Sunmoon Teahouse (Naphold Teaház) comes with a pop up tea store and a baffling variety of teas.
With all this abundance of gastronomy you might get confused, but we are there to help with the tasting show, Pantry in the mouth, a collaboration of WAMP and Wine & Go.
The roundtable starts at 2.30 pm with the most exciting characters and novelties of gastronomy lead by Dóra Havas with the following interlocutors: Kata Koklács, founder of Wine & Go, the online wine shop with bicycle home delivery. Ferenc Szatmári author of the recently published ‘Feri, the pottage guy’ – ‘Feri, a főzelékes’, who will lead us into the colorful world of pottage-universe.
Paolo de Bartolomeo, owner of Pizzica, an authentic Italian pizzeria, telling us all about the perfect dough for pizzas. The representative of Desszert.Neked (Dessert.For.You) tells all about a dessert-workshop. Last but not least, Zoli Havasi will talk about the civil society initiative created by riders, the Budapest Bike Maffia, and how they gathered food, groceries and other essential things worth tens of millions of forints in the past 3 years for those in need.
And all those who would also donate for the families helped by Budapest Biker Maffia, will have the opportunity to help at the WAMP charity table by buying the given products.
