Bocuse d’Or Europe Final To Shine Spotlight On Hungary’s Gastronomy

Chefs will each have 5 hours and 35 minutes to prepare before an audience and jury a meat and a fish dish reflecting the culinary values of their own country as well as their own technical skills, said GL Events Exhibitions gastronomy director Florent Suplisson.
Zoltán Hamvas, the head of the Hungarian Bocuse d’Or Academy, noted that Budapest, which is now home to an increasing number of Michelin starred restaurants, won the right to host the event taking place at the Hungexpo centre ahead of London, Vienna and Łódź.
