EU Sets Hungary Refugee Quota At 300
Hungary would be asked to take in 307 refugees annually under a proposed EU quota system outlined on Wednesday by the European Commission. Most of the 20,000 refugees to be admitted to the EU would be settled in Germany, France and Italy.

According to a financial supplement to the proposals, Hungary would receive €23.7 million in the 2014-20 budget period from the EU’s internal security fund for border defence and visa objectives, and €40.8 million from the refugee affairs, migration and integration funds.

Prime Minister Viktor Orbán said on Monday that the cabinet will submit the proposal on immigration to Parliament and the public.
