Lázár Calls On Hungary’s Former PM Gyurcsány To “Come Clean” On Altus Consortium
The government office chief has called on Ferenc Gyurcsány, leader of the opposition Democratic Coalition, to come clean concerning the membership of the consortium in charge of a project which won a European Union contract through Gyurcsány’s company Altus.

Speaking at a regular government press briefing, János Lázár accused Gyurcsány of having misled the European Commission.

At the same time, he called on the body to disclose all documents related to the contract.

He also demanded that Gyurcsány give details of whether among the partners in the consortium there was anyone whom the EU’s anti-fraud office (OLAF) was investigating in connection with a previous bankruptcy which may have been mixed up with abuses.
