Hungary’s PM Orbán Says Britons Dissatisfied
Migration, the modern-day exodus, was the most crucial issue in the British referendum campaign and the residents of the UK were not satisfied with EU policy, Prime Minister Viktor Orbán said in an interview on Kossuth Rádió Friday morning.

The most important lesson of the British referendum is that Brussels hear the voice of people, he remarked.

Orbán said Hungary is in the EU because it believes in a strong Europe, but Europe is only strong it if can provide answers to highly important issues such as migration. This has not happened, the EU has had a different response which has resulted in decisions leading to a weaker Europe, he added.

He said the issue of the consequences that Brexit will have for Hungarians working in the UK is not yet relevant, as there will be extensive legal discussions and it is not worth commenting until the contours are visible.
