Hungarian Investment Promotion Agency HIPA Assists €2.3 Bln Of Investment
The Hungarian Investment Promotion Agency (HIPA) this year aided the decisions of foreign companies to invest an accumulated €2.3 billion in Hungary, business daily Világgazdaság reported today.

A total of 41 decisions have been made this year on foreign investments here, including the expansion of Mercedes-Benz through an investment of €1 bln, building its second base in Kecskemét.

The Daimler divisionʼs planned investment is one of 16 automotive industry projects HIPA helped bring to Hungary, the paper reported.

Last year, HIPA helped broker deals for 67 investments worth a combined €1.4 bln.
