Orbán Informs Juncker About Referendum Result

Prime Minister Viktor Orbán has written to Jean-Claude Juncker, president of the European Commission, about the outcome of Hungary’s Oct. 2 referendum on EU migrant quotas.
According to “the will of the vast majority of participants” in the referendum, the government has decided to propose amending the constitution, Orbán wrote, adding that the proposed amendment would fully comply with European law and Hungary’s international commitments.
