Hungary’s Weather Service Warns Of Extreme Cold, Snow Drifts
Daytime highs on Monday will be above -10 C, but the national weather service has warned of storm-force winds and possible snow drifts in several parts of Hungary.

According to a statement from the National Meteorological Service, extreme weather conditions are to be expected in Nógrád, Győr-Moson-Sopron, Vas, Borsod-Abaúj-Zemplén, Hajdú-Bihar, Jász-Nagykun-Szolnok, Szabolcs-Szatmár-Bereg, Veszprém, and Zala counties.

Snow is expected across the whole country; 1-3 centimetre east of the river Danube and up to 3 centimetres in western Hungary.

Late in the evening, temperatures could drop between -13, -6 C.
