Olympic Consultants’ Costs Rising
- 5 Jan 2017 8:00 AM
Organiser Budapest 2024 recently raised the sum by a net Ft 1.5 billion, having raised it by Ft 607 million last August.
The parties said they are increasing the original commission fee due to unforeseen requirements from international sports federations and the International Olympic Committee, as well as the surplus tasks stemming from Rome’s decision to withdraw its bid.
The “unforeseen requirements” were not revealed, Index writes.
The consultants are Britain’s M-Integrated Solutions, PricewaterhouseCoopers Magyarország, and Swiss company Lagardere Sports Geneva.
