Synagogue To Be Renovated

The government is giving Ft 1 billion this year and a further Ft 700 million next year to Jewish communities for property development projects, according to the official gazette Magyar Közlöny.
This also means that the renovation of the synagogue on Rumbach Sebestyén utca in the Seventh District will finally be completed.
The art nouveau style building was designed by Vienna architect Otto Wagner.
The building will host the House of Coexistence presenting the joint history of Jews and Hungarians.
