M3 Metro Defects Discovered – Tarlós

He said some 20 Russian engineers were in Budapest at the weekend and found that the problem was related to a faulty cable connection that controls the door opening mechanism.
Tarlós apologised to the people of Budapest for the many problems in connection with the upgrade of the M3 line.
He said initially City Hall had wanted to purchase new carriages “but permits and funding were only provided for upgrades”.
