'Animal Festival', Budapest Zoo, 4 - 8 October

The five-day event includes several entertaining and educational programs, which animal and plant lovers shouldn't miss. The organisors also say they have interesting stories to tell visitors about, "species conversation, responsible animal husbandry, and bird protection". Best of all, child aged 0-14 years can enter for free!
Visitors can feed bird and attend bird watching sessions. A creative crafts tent, educational events, wooden toy making and a playground all await the little ones.
Also on 7 and 8 October visitors can admire special bonsai plants and ask professional advice and demonstrations about bonsai keeping.
Ticket prices:
Adult ticket: 2800 HUF
Child's ticket (0-14 years) FREE
Children under 14 years can not enter the Zoo without adult supervision.
Student's ticket (with ISIC) 2000 HUF
