Együtt Withdraws Candidates In Favour Of LMP

The opposition Együtt party has decided to withdraw its individual candidates in constituencies where LMP’s Bernadett Szél and Ákos Hadházy are running for the April 8 parliamentary election, Együtt announced.
Együtt said in a statement that Szél and Hadházy have demonstrated their capacity to win over candidates of ruling Fidesz, and encouraged all “democratic” opposition parties and civil groups to support them.
They argued that in each constituency the opposition should field the candidate most likely to win.
At the same time, Együtt asked for support for its “brave and capable of locally winning” candidates in other constituencies.
