New Tennis Stadium Plan For Margaret Island
Fidesz MP Lajos Szűcs filed a bill in Parliament on Monday on building a 14,500m2 tennis stadium on Margaret Island in Budapest capable of hosting ATP 500 or Davis Cup tournament matches.

The bill puts the project on a super fast track, in order to complete construction within 12 months. MPs are to vote on the bill on Tuesday.

The Gazprom Hungarian Open ATP 250 tournament starts on April 23 and the new stadium should be ready one year later.
