The competition authority GVH announced on Tuesday that it has accepted the changes offered by Airbnb Ireland, which operates the private accommodation booking site in Hungary, on revealing the full price for consumers on Hungarian-language sites.
The GVH refrained from issuing a fine to the company.
The GVH started its investigation in October 2016, because it suspected that Airbnb was misleading Hungarian-language users of its services.
Airbnb has now promised to reveal all cost items, including cleaning fees, charges for additional guests and exchange-rate related items, in Hungarian.
The GVH will verify in a follow-up examination that the promised changes have been made.
