Two-Thirds Of Hungarians Plan Summer Hols
Fully 63% of Hungarians plan a summer holiday this year and budget 194,000 forints (EUR 605) for travel expenses, according to a survey by K&H Bank. Half of those who plan a vacation have budgets below 150,000 forints.

Residents of Budapest plan to spend 238,000 forints, on average, while Hungarians living in smaller communities budget 160,000.

Fully 37% of Hungarians have no plans to holiday in the summer this year.

Some 59% of these people say they cannot afford to and 22% would rather save their money.

The survey of 500 people aged 30-59 was conducted between February 23 and March 6.
